Bruce Lee is an overrated stuntman who only ever had 7 legit fights in his entire life, none of which were taped, and all of which were against tomato cans. The notion that he was some kind of colossal badass is utterly laughable.

I stand with spray on this one. If Bruce were still alive today, he'd be Matthysse's prag.

It's true that there has not been live footage of Bruce in a real fight. There is footage of him sparring and training, and it can be concluded that the man was talented and skillful and would very likely hold his own in competition against some pros.

It's interesting that when he was alive, many of those who knew him had nothing but praise for him and his skills, except for a few naysayers jealous of his fame. It's also interesting that to this day no one has come forward saying he kicked Bruce's ass in any fight.

There is however, a story he told of being tangled up and submitted by Judo Gene Lebell during a sparring session which helped him develop JKD to include ground fighting.
