Because of the open angle when you fight right handers and how your left has to travel further to the target, having good range should help you land your straight left on right handers while staying out of the range of theres. Perfect the Jab, Jab, Straight combination and make sure you extend and get full range on those punches.

Taller guys standing straight up is always dangerous, but could be more dangerous for you. Southpaws vulnerable to straight right hands. Standing straight up limits mobility and ability to get away from right hands. So make sure your stance is not too straight up but also doesn't give away your height advantage.

Having range/reach always opens up a lot of good options if you no how to use it. Not much different for southpaw except your ability to take better advantage of your power hand (left). Otherwise, many of the principles are the same.

from southpaw - throw a short right hook to get your opponent moving away/under, when you notice how they react to the hook, faint one and throw your uppercut.

      - also you can throw one after you have slipped to the outside of an opponent cross and you come back in, just keep in mind the opponent short hook as your throwing your uppercut.

      - throw one as your moving off to your right ( as if to hit him as a counter to his jab )
