What the ****? Why are you even asking that question? If you are the Undisputed champ, you are also going to be the Ring, and Lineal champ too.
Undisputed means holding all the major titles. Undisputed means you are going to be the other ones too. It's just inclusive but being one of the others doesn't mean you are the Undisputed champ. You can be lineal without being Undisputed and you can be the ring without being Undisputed. However, if you are Undisputed you are also automatically the lineal and Ring champ. You have beaten everyone and won all the titles to get. It's the only title related thing in boxing that genuinely means anything today.
Lineal title has become obsolete as the actual lineage means nothing any more because it's become so diluted. The Ring is no different from anything else. Undisputed is literally just that. 'Undisputed'.
It means you own the division and have no question to your true claim as the best. Lineal used to say the same thing decades ago but you can very easily be called the lineal champ today without having done ****.
Classic example: Take Ricky Hatton at the time he lost to Pac. He was considered the lineal champ somehow, yet he only held some IBO title and hadn't defended any of the genuine titles in years against any of the best fighters there. Pac beat him easily and was crowned the lineal champ. He most certainly didn't beat the best guy at 140 or the guy who had proven he was the best any time recently against the best fighters at 140 (unless you want to call Malignaggi and Lazcano the best at 140). If Hatton was the Undisputed champ however, he would have had to beat Tim Bradley, and all the other young champs coming up. Hatton hadn't shown he was the best at 140 since moving up to fight Collazo and yet he was still considered the lineal champ. The same thing is happening throughout boxing today. No title of any sort means anything now, imo, apart from Undisputed.
Being the Undisputed champ is the closest thing to being the type of champ you had to be back when it actually meant something to be called a champ and hold a title.
Not only that but to stay Undisputed you have to keep on beating the top contenders. The others mean **** in comparison today.
