It usually comes down to one thing ignorance I was always bought up to respect people of other races, religions and cultures and I have also grown up and lived in a very multi cultural place.

an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor does a non-Arab have any superiority over an Arab: also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over a white, except by piety and good action.
