Is it a good idea to start a fight with someone when you are terrified?

So every fiber of your being says run run run.

But you cant run, and you have to defend yourself against an attacker.

If you start throwing punches etc when you are that scared, start fighting, are you gonna really suck at fighting hesitate be timid get smashed over, or will you fight with extra ferocity?

Remember you are scared as hell so no rage here u are in flight mode but are forcing yourself with willpower to fight anyway.

Actually if I remember you suck and are timid hesitate, dont think straight etc, so you have to make a commited decision to GO GO GO not hesitate and turn teh desire to run into the desire to punch them, so u r still afraid but using the fear to move your fists rather than your legs, u have to go all out with decisions, no hesitate punch punch punch more often than he does, Attack attack attack, only stop if hes doing something smart like backing up and smacking you as you come forward then backing up again, then u have to do something smart liek use head movement as you come forward faster

so all out blitz (you go first) or offensive defense if they start fighting tactically, if they hit u first offensive defense, move head, strike, move while blocking then strike, etc

you have to overide your fear tendancies liek hesitation and doubt with clever decisions like blitzing them being more determined and active than they are and fighting with more skill
