BoxingScene.com has confirmed that eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao, and rapper 50 Cent, are going to move forward with a joint promotional venture - according to Pacquiao's adviser Michael Koncz.

Call me crazy or say I'm wrong, but I honestly think this could be about Manny wanting to maximize his earnings from a Floyd-Pac fight next year. If he has a joint promotional company with 50 to promote the fight, he won't need Top Rank, that fight doesn't need big time promoters. He'll make more money than he's ever made, and than some. I honestly feel that's what this was about.
