  • For the sake of argument, let's say Mayweather got a gift decision against Castillo

    • Pacquiao got a gift decision over Marquez

    • Mosley got one over De La Hoya

    • Tito got one over De La Hoya

    • De La Hoya got one over everybody and their brother

    • Cotto got one over Clottey

    • Leonard got one over Hagler

    • Ali got one over Norton

But people **** on Mayweather? The only one out of that list who came back to get decisive win after the controversial one?

    Castillo lost

There is no such thing as a "gift decision" in a close fight. Unlles one guy dominated and got robbed is not a gift decision.

people **** on floyd because floyd wants to be ****ted on. it's all part of his "promotional" strategy.

I thought castillo won the first fight but it was a close fight. no shame in that and there would have been no shame in floyd not getting the decision that night either. people like just to take digs at floyd because its so easy but they are definitely stretching the truth when they say Castillo was robbed.

a gift is what my childhood hero Julio Cesar Chavez got when he fought sweet pea

another example of a gift is what one judge in the martinez vs williams fight scored for the fight 119-110 williams

Close fight, cudda went either way...

I still can't figure out how Trinidad beat DLH...and Cotto-Clottey was a toss up fight...

Every great fighter has a disputed decision.

I will say though i thought Castillo clearly won that fight. it was competitve...but in my eyes a clear win for Castillo.

People don't jump all over these other guys the same way they get on Mayweather
