  • Why do the French want to separate from the rest of Canada??

There's been lots of rumbling over the last 20years that the 'british' are dominating the country. The French believe the culture is in danger of being washed out by English influence. There was a strong movement for an independant Quebec in the 90's that died down, but it seems its popped its head out of the sand the last few years as theres been more rambling of an independant Quebec with an introduction of the French 'culture police' in Quebec enforcing the French language on restaurants etc.

because the French lost the war to the British and they are all sour about it. This is the only pu**y way they can get their independence.

I live in Montreal, Quebec btw

They don't want to separate from Canada. Not really. They want to sort of a little bit separate but still avail themselves of provincial equalisation payments, the Canadian dollar, the gold reserves and the national resources. They don't want independence, they just want to play house.

Yes, never quote RT. Their stock in trade is trying to embarrass Western governments, which is why they're talking about something that hasn't been in the news in Canada since the Bloq were almost wiped out in the last Federal election.
