Capitalism has turned USA's citizens into the wealthiest on the planet. From 1979-2014 USA's upper middle class rose from 12% to 30%, Rich from .04% to 11%, Middle class decreased from 39% to 32% but that is largely attributed to the middle class moving up to upper middle class, the Lower Middle Class from 16% to 8% and the Poor from 7% to 4%. Poverty rate has also been slashed in half in that time, not only in the USA but in the world as well.

However the fact remains, Capitalism has turned USA citizens into the wealthiest people in the world and it is not even close. Our poor, are equivalent to the worlds middle/upper middle class.

So next time some dummy communist on this board or else where in life tries to convince you that socialism or communism is the way to go, make sure to point these stats out to him.

The Soviet Union had a global hegemony and their people lived like ****. So yeah its pretty clear that capitalism is the culprit that creates wealth for a nation.

I think there's a lot of people who would say they "live like ****" in the states.

Just because, in terms of numbers, other people around the world are living in diarrhea, doesn't mean that living in regular **** doesn't smell.

That just means inequality was larger elsewhere, in terms of **** portions and overall **** stiffness.

Plus you gotta add the cost of living in ****, too. If we consider how much it costs to live in ****, then a lot of people aren't better off than the ones living in diarrhea.

They may have a dollar extra, numerically, but that dollar's not going to remove much **** at all, if any.

Capitalist societies do not fail, socialist/communist societies fail. I don't see anyone killing dogs for food where there is a healthy market economy, I do however see it in Venezuela. Also we aren't just doing better than poor countries who are imitating capitalism, we are also better off than all of Europe.
