You rarely see boxers with tattoos make top 10 p4p lists as well. Hmm, listen to your parents and don't get that tattoo, you're setting yourself up for failure.

I always thought the tadpole on Pac was a birthmark, still I give him a pass since it's not some huge over the top LOOK AT ME tattoo.

Winky Wright was top 5 P4P for a good minute, he had tats.

Diego Corrales was top 5P4P and had tatts.

Joe Calzaghe was top 3 P4P, future HOF'er and has a tattoo.

I don't think there is any relationship between tattoos and success in the ring. I am an old guy and I remember a time when almost nobody had a tattoo including boxers. Now tattoos are so popular that almost everyone has at least one tattoo and many have damn near their entire body covered with them. Tattoos have completely lost their shock value and have become main stream. When a guy has hundreds of tattoos you don't look at any one tattoo. You just think, damn, that guy is just covered with tattoos. The best way to stand out from the crowd is to be one of the small minority that have no tattoos.
