PPV numbers don't equate to how you're viewed by the public. Floyd can sell as many PPVs as he wants, but he'll never have the adoration and respect from the fans and Boxing experts like they have for Pacquiao now...something he's always been seeking. As time passes, people aren't going to be bringing up PPV numbers more than both fighters' fights and their performances. How many people go around comparing Marvin Hagler and Ray Leonard's gate money throughout their careers?
