      Injuries ended Martinez's career

Willie Pep was never the same after that plane crash

Ali lost his prime to inactivity

Imagine Ray Leonards career without the eye problems and inactivity

Sergio martinez in the last round of the chavez fight. Hit the canvas, and was never the same again. It was all rehabilitation and reconstructive surgeries from then on,and it was a wonder that he did the murray and cotto fights. Oh,and another interesting one would be antonio margarito after the pacquiao fight. He was basically walking around with a huge target on his eye, after pacquiao broke the orbital bone. In the second cotto fight,it started swelling from the get go,and cotto took advantage of it.

Horrible case being McClellan. Benn rabit punched him all night.

Didnt forrest have a bad shoulder near the end??how about hatton and his alcoholism.

            Martinez is an obvious example

            Ward

Thurman....hurt his shoulder and looked less than stellar in his last fight and is about to get whooped by da Ghost.

Broner, injured his brain over stuffing on cupcakes now he looks like garbage.

Hatton when he tried to come back against Senchenko after the long layoff

Ortiz, took two years off after the Lopez beat down and came back to get stopped in the 1st.

Angulo post jail hasn't been the same.
Cintron after his layoff post Williams.
Carlos Molina post jail/layout went to shit.
                Robert Helenius

Robert Guerrero- I always thought highly of his skills..but he ending up having some injuries and life events that kept him from a consistent schedule. Still turned out to be pretty damn good, but I think he lost something along the way.

                    That was a huge setback.
