Dariusz Michalczewski's single division run more impressive than Floyd or Roy's.

Richard Hall, Montell Griffin, Graciano Rochigianni and Virgil Hill, WERE Dariusz's BEST wins.
If you don't rate them, and you want them taking out of the equation, then what's left?
Who the hell else did he beat besides those guys??
Think about it.
Remove those guys from Dariusz's resume, and there's nothing left. So how can you possibly say that he beat better competition than Roy??
Both guys beat Griffin. But Roy beat him first, when he wasn't shot. He was a very good fighter and he was undefeated.
Both guys beat Hill. And yes, he was faded. But although Dariusz got to him first, Roy destroyed him.
Both guys beat Hall. But Roy gave him an absolute hiding, before Dariusz went on to have problems with him.
Again, if you want to take Griffin, Hill and Hall out of the equation, then that's fine.
If you also don't rate Rochigianni who Roy didn't fight, that's also fine. But if you omit those guys, it leaves your argument in absolute tatters.
The best of the rest for Dariusz:
Leeonzer Barber
Nicky Piper
Mark Prince
Muslim Briaslanov
Alejandro Lakatos
Joey DeGrandis
Derrick Harmon
The best of the rest for Roy:
Mike McCallum
Lou Del Valle
Reggie Johnson
Eric Harding
Julio Gonzalez
Clinton Woods
Antonio Tarver
As far as I can see, you have no argument.
It doesn't even matter whether or not you include Griffin, Hill and Hall for both fighters. Because either way, Roy clearly beat the better guys.
It was a simple case of quality over quantity.
I'll look forward to your response.Last edited by robertzimmerman; 09-26-2015, 06:29 PM.
