    • To beat Roddick today, Federer had to be at his best. Those who say he wasn't playing his best are delusional and very biased. Federer was streched to pull out his best tennis today and you know it.

Did you even watch the match?

Did you not see how many times Federer roofed the ball, hit the net and just generally making stupid mistakes he wouldn't of if he was playing half his best.

Federer does things like that in every match.

Roddick was just as bad over shooting a lot of shots.

Nope, he wasn't at his best and Boris Becker, Tim Henman and Andrew Castle all agree with me because they were saying Federer was struggling to control the ball all the way through the match.

I've never seen him do it as much as he did today though.

Well then you haven't watched much Feder. If you stretch him out like Roddick did he becomes more inclined to make an error. Similar to what happened to Murray.

It's the most aces scored in the match for Federer. Your obvoisly igonring the fact that Federer had to be at his best to break Roddicks serve as it was just to hard to break but he did get there eventually. Federer was pushed to play his best, i take it you never seen the second set where he was pushed to bring out his best tennis. Anything to discredit Roddick's skill, he played brilliant and has throughout the tournament. IMO Federer could only beat Roddick today as he would of crushed any other player in the final.

Not often he plays for that long though. It's tit for tat.

They both made errors during the match and both had good points. Federer just out lasted Roddick.
