The amateur ranks in USA are second to none. Only the old Soviet Bloc could compare, and that no longer exists. Mad competition over there.
I would say it's harder for them to become the USA media darlings, because there is so much quality opposition. However, after they become the media darlings, their is a bias in their favor regarding rankings and P4P lists, compared to foreign fighters.
Not a BAD thing in a comparison as it would happen the same in every other country. If Germany was the boxing mecca, their fighters would be favored in rankings and P4P lists, and so on.
But that is how I see it.
