They believe that's the way they can get a result off us. Teams do what they have to do. With QPR Harry has turned them ultra defensive they done the exact same thing against Chelsea and Tottenham. Hell they even went defensive against West Ham. City should have been prepared for it.

Teams have always gone at United because they give you half a chance as they commit more bodies ahead of the ball than most teams. Even when Chelsea were genuinely average we'd beat United now and again. We got a double over them once and weren't a million miles of the relegation places when Peacock done them twice.

The problem with sitting back against United is because they simplify the game and if needs must they whip ball after ball after ball into the penalty area and get numbers in the box.

I am pretty sure, for all the Barcelona-isation of football - most goals come from crosses.

I watched City and they were too narrow and were only going to score the perfect goal. Chelsea are the same but with the added bonus of allowing the oppo to score if they show a modicum of ambition.

When United play QPR they'll play two proper wingers who will get their boots white and crosses will be getting fired across that penalty area all game long and in the end it will break for them.

Set-up like they currently are QPR will lose comfortably to United. They are better served playing two up top and getting down the sides of Ferdinand who is now a carthorse.
