    So what does Cuba need to have happen for its athletes and people to be free and to actually have a choice on their future?
    Do we need Castro to croak it for this to be somewhat possible, its sickening that they don't want their best athletes to go out there and represent their home country.

      The whole system needs to change. Unfortunately Castro's legacy has to be changed from within, but Internet and free information flow is key sure helps and it's slowly creeping in now over there.

      Mainly if the embargo is lifted it would take away the Governments scapegoat for everything, then it will be just a matter of time for Cuba to join this century fully if that happens, including the end of broke starving desperate Olympic Athletes.
