  • [PLEASE HELP] I keep getting redirected to bad sites when i use a search engine

    How do i stop this?

Avast says i have 3 infections

    C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe Threat: Win32: Dropper-gen [Drp]
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogin.exe Threat:Win32: Malware-gen
    C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe Threat: Win32: Dropper-gen [Drp]

I cant delete, repair or move them to the chest. It says read only if i move to chest/repair. And if i delete it says its being used by another program.

Malware Bytes isnt picking up anything. The malware program i use.

go to start, run, regedit, hkey_local_machine, software, microsoft, windows NT, current version, and click on winlogin.

scroll down to userinit and tell me what it says under data.

Anytime i've a trojan/virus problem, that file seems to have the wrong name

Might be a different location for u depending on what windows u use, but thats where i go

According to some windows sufferers, only stupid people get viruses.
