Why would you want to come out of a fight looking like you got bludgeoned with a baseball bat? Why not use slickness and counter punching........Why do some fighters lack this trait? What are they missing?

What makes a good slick fighter?why is it some fighters do not have this trait?

Alot of fighters are slick, some chose to fight and let their bravado shine through. Erik Morales for example was a great boxer and can easily out boxed his oppenent but he choose to to put on a great show which is why he has two "fight of the Year" Awards. For that "trait" of bravado Morales had is the reason he is so beloved today.

Some guys simply don't have the athletic ability or the technical expertise to pull it off even if they try to. Others decide to disregard defense by choice or because they came up in cultures where boxers have to be offensive-minded.

See people have the wrong misconception about boxing cause they watched them damn Rocky Movies,boxing is hit and don't get hit,dish out punishment and don't take it...aint nun cool bout taking punishment son.
