    BoxingScene was on hand for an intense sparring session between undefeated lightweight contender Mercito Gesta and undefeated super featherweight prospect Joel Diaz (11-0) at The Summit Gym in Big Bear, Calif. Gesta is preparing for his title shot against IBF champion Miguel Vazquez that takes place on December 8th on the Manny Pacquiao versus Juan Manuel Marquez pay-per-view undercard.

    Joel Diaz = Overrated...sorry to say it but it's the damned truth. After them bullshh comments when Bradley was gifted his win..one minute he was "We're losing you need a ko to win"..the next he's telling reporters "I knew we had this won the whole time"...yeah..uhuh. Plus all that bullshhh he said about online fans critiquing him and timothy..well mofo if not for the fans you'd be doing another line of work. It was nice to see another latino trainer coming up the ranks but he quickly fkked that up.

      You obviously didn't read the article. The article is talking about Joel Diaz the 20-21 year old fighter from Palmdale, not Joel Diaz the coach from Coachella!!!

          Joel Diaz is a bad ass, definitely someone to look out for.

          Check out his fight against Guy Robb, one of the best of the year imo.
