I hear it works really well, MS. Especially with win 7. And i wasn't aware Esetnod32 had a free version...i just checked their website and don't see it for free. But i have that in the security suite 4, it's one of the best. Worth paying for complete with firewall, anti malware-phishing-virus. It does it all.
But if you want free, definatly use Microsoft's security essentials. I read they really stepped up to the plate with it. Who would know better how to protect their OS than the creators themselves? Despite their rep as being lazy about security. Guess they changed their tune.
