  • Most negative styles in boxing today

I love boxing. But it seems that a lot of high profile fighters are turning off both the casual and hard core fans with negative, sometimes dirty, and boring styles. Many make millions in high profile fights but decide to take the night off at the fans expense. Others have made a career out of this while receiving rewards and praise from the American media. I made a list of the number of fighters cheating the fans from exciting fights while making a large sums of money. Currently we have:

Timothy Bradley-habitual head butts, boring, ran from Manny Pacquiao
Devon Alexander(Always boring) Tap and run style
Zab Judah against Matthysse was a disgrace
Chad Dawson- boring his entire career
Floyd Mayweather jr (no need to explain)
    Andre Ward(head butts, excessive holding)
Bernard Hopkins-the pioneer of boring, dirty tactics, holding
    Shane Mosley-disgraceful performance against Pacquiao
Kevin Johnson-stunk it up against Vitali Klitschko. Complained about the scoring afterwards

As fans should we boycott these types of fighters and their fights?

If you truly "love boxing" then you should be able to appreciate masters such as Hopkins, Mayweather and Ward at work, whether or not you like the style or not! To even suggest that we should boycott them says to me that you are in no way
    a hardcore boxing fan!

And if your just citing the Pacquiao fight then you clearly haven't watched a prime Mosley, one of the must exciting boxers of modern times! The rest of the guys you've mentioned (with the exception of Johnson) are very talented boxers whose styles have worked for them and are making them money, which is the goal of any profession!

Wladimir Klitschko - Jab and grab. Blatantly cheats in every fight, illegally holding to stop any offence from his opponents. Dirtiest and the most boring fighter in the sport, maybe even ever.

Wladimir scores knock outs. He goes for the knock out which is something no fighters on that list does if they feel threatened.

LOL Wlad only goes for the KO if there's a dead man infront of him. In some fights he doesn't throw anything other than a jab for entire rounds. His whole style is negative, he's got to wrap his arms around opponents and do the waltz for fear of getting KTFO.
