I always thought Barrera was a lil overrated as far as being an ATG but I see what you mean....Morales and Barrera=better known high profiled contemporaries like Jones and Toney...Marquez is the guy that stayed world class longer and proved his worth while the other guys fell off like Hopkins is doing.

Im a JMM fan and Barrera hater.....

I still know Barrera probably beats him at 126-130 prime for prime....Marquez just eats too many jabs.

JMM has the better win of all in his resume but it lacks in names...he did age much better.

Morales has more depth+victories over those who beat Barrera in his prime...

MAB has almost as much depth as Morales and got the better of him head to head...almost beat JMM more removed from his prime.

They're pretty even.

As far as Hopkins and Toney, Toney was talented but wasted the latter part of his career. Jones got the better of both head to head and was great until the age of 34.

Hopkins prayed on a **** division and small guys for years, then has picked on a bunch of very flawed newbies....though he does get credit since his balls hang by his feet.
