2 weeks and 6 days ago I ended up with 16 stitches in my right hand after a little brawl when I was out clubbing. The first week after I got the stitches I coulden't do anything, so I ended up watching movies in the day times. I aslo bought alot of diet coke and comfort carbos, pretty much my last 3 weeks have been sitting on my ass and eating alot of comfort food. Now the good thing is my metabolism is still good, I can pretty much eat anything and as much as I can eat even without training and still don't store too much fat. Although if I train alot and increase my carbs I get bigger fast in the past I've gained 25ish pounds in 6 months w/o really trying just training 7 days a week.
But here's the thing I have removed the stitches and I have some mobility in my hand again. So I started training again today here is how it went.
Started with situps did 100 in a 45% angle then 4x20/3 breaths intervalls (Is when I do 3 breaths in resting position between each 20 rep) I aspected it to be bad so no big suprise really, I could propably have squeesed a bit more juice from it but I choose not too. So I start on some leg work skipping rope / dancing around throwing some light punches at this point Im in a t-shirt a sweater and a cap trying to get a burn going, what happen is my shoulders cramp up (they sometimes tend to do this since I've overdone the heavy bags the last year and the heavy bags at my gym are a bit too light) so I put on my sweat jacket loaded up the ipod with some angry **** gurgled down some sports drink and a carb bar and start on the rope again but like after half an hour I just gave up on breaking a sweat.
So Im gonna start again next week, my hand didn't hurt much trough todays excersise but I can't do any form for sack/pads/sparring training yet and my hand hindered me some with the rope. From next week I'll start skipping rope / swimming / shadow boxing / foot work / sit ups etc. But here's my problem Im gonna struggle for least 2 weeks according to my experience just to get back to having half decent workouts and Im kinda reliant on bags / sparring to break a sweat when im in the shape im in now and since that isen't a possibility any advice would be most welcome.
