Hugo Ruiz (31-1, 28KOs) is very confident of beating WBA "regular" bantamweight champion Koki Kameda (28-1, 17KOs) on December 4th in Osaka, Japan. Kameda has won six in a row since losing a close decision to Pongsaklek Wonjongkam in 2010, while Ruiz has gone unbeaten since suffering an upset TKO loss in 2007 when he was 9-0.

Should be a good fight, Kameda not as good a fighter as his fame suggests, but also fighting in his hometown. Hopefully Ruiz wins so we can have one more live body at 118-122

There are so many Kameda doubters here in Japan, even amid the lightest of fight fans. He's all talk. That's how most of the JP boxing fans recognize Koki. This fight is good on paper. Now let it happen. May the best man win. I for one hope to see Ruiz retire Kameda.
