Can you still be "battle tested" if you've been KOed

Despite having been KO'ed in his former life, and being reborn here in the US......I thought Khan was really becoming one of the more battle tested young champions out there.

There haven't been many fighters lately who do as much to stay on their feet while hurt than Khan does and I thought that type of experience for a chinny guy like him would serve him well if he continued to get by.... eventually he'd begin to separate himself from the pack because of experience in championship fights. we all know how that turned out...so

do you think you can still be battle tested for the future after a brutal loss??

yes, but he flunks the test if he doesn't learn from it
he won a tough fight with Maidana
he rightfully won a tough fight with Lamont too
can't say Khan hasn't shown guts in his fights
he showed a bit too much against Garcia though
he's battle tested already, but it's on him to show something for it
