it's easy to look good when you are faster than your opponent and you understand what they are doing........not so easy when you are perplexed and have no idea where to even start......

No different than when a fighter is hit with something hard, thats pain, the body sends a signal to the mind that we dont like that feeling, its up the fighter to overcome that and say, so what, Im going to get this done by any means necessary.
When Shane got countered, when he got hit with shots he didnt see coming, when he got hit with shots he knew was coming but couldnt get out of the way of, he started to shut down, after seeing things he tried wasnt working he eventually went into survival mode and was happy to go the distance.
I wish more people realized this instead of taking credit away from Mayweather and downplaying his win

Mosley has been outboxed before he would not just give up, his body would not let him.

he can still pull the trigger just fine......his problem was simple.....everytime he tried to mount any offense after rd 2 he would get countered or get a stiff jab in the face from Mayweather.....he looked confused...he had no idea what was coming next....and that's it......he started thinking too much and that was that........
If he fights Margarito again = same result.

you are right.........Shane is a very very very good 2 trick pony....strength and speed......his strength and handspeed were good enough against almost all opponents....but when something isn't working he hasn't show too much ability to adapt...he just tries harder and gets more aggressive.......
