exactly. he was doing good everytime he let his hands go. but If he wants the rematch they better make it right away and dont let jr ballon up in weight.

exactly...people here call you delusional and racist even for pointing that out. Martinez got the decision as he should have. It's not about Chavez being Mexican.

I ain't blind though and I saw Chavez take his shots like it was breakfast. People say Martinez went toe to toe with him after the knockdown. That is true, but those shots had nothing behind them. When Chavez landed you saw the difference.

The rematch would be different but watch out saying that you'll be hated on for not giving Martinez props. .

Mayweather-Martinez shall never happen. Mayweather ends him.

wait, you mean jabbin and jumpin around then occasionally throwing a left, seem like a boxing lesson? martinez ate some nice punches in the last rd too, i just hope they do rematch and jr comes in just dropping bombs on this guy......

Martinez did exactly was he was supposed to do. Heestayed on his feet and fired back
Like a true champ is supposed to.
When you run you don't throw 100 punches a round and destroy your opponents face and body.

Chavez deserves credit for showing a lot of heart. He never quit.

Why be sore losers with excuses? Blind nationalism is lame ass hell, and it maks our people look ******ed. Specially after Martinez showed us so much respect
            From a Cracka just lurking.

            Great fucking post, bud.

Smh at the delusional chavez fans. I got exited for Julio at the end but once the dust settled. I knew Chavez got schooled. A rematch is fine but in a way it's as if Mosley was given a rematch against Floyd because he hurt him in rd 2.

he took the shots like it was breakfast and his face showed all of it. People, please realize this was the most one sided fight that has happened in a while. There's no reason for a rematch for a knockdown in one round just like the article today states. Chavez showed tremendous heart and stamina also, but nothing from that fight should states rematch, it would be like giving margarito a rematch with pacquiao and hoping that margarito just lands that one lucky bomb.

thats what chavez came in to do obviously but he couldn't do it, thought chavez was going to impose his will on martinez but it was not close to even happening up until the last 2 minutes of the fight. And to make ya'll realize even more, Martinez could've ran the whole last round and he didn't, he could've ran after the knockdown and he didn't as hurt as he was, he stayed there fighting and actually landing a **** ton on JR. Ya'll just need to give credit where its due.

in the first bold. I think everyone did, i don't think there was one person watching the fight that didnt get up and scream when this happened.

in the second bold. Couldn't say that any better. Good post.

Winning one round does not warrant you a rematch. Como eso es posible? Puņeta, Cotto le gano tres rounds a Pacquiao y todos dicen que no merece revancha. Como es posible que por un descuido en el ultimo round dicen que merecen revancha. Sergio was knock down, he went right up and kept swinging, fighting and even push back JR showing him who was in charge. Dont fool yourself. Kids take their pride too damn seriously. However, they are not even in their country fighting and forging the well being of their country. GTFOH with blind and dumb nationalistic. And **** who ever brings me having a Cotto avi to this conversation. Plenty of ricans here have prove more than once that we dont get carry away with that *****.

Hey...If the money they both made was good, and the PPV numbers as well..then there's going to be a rematch.

That last round fuels another rematch to be honest.
