It will be a lose lose situation if they both ever went to war.

Nobody would win per se.

Each country will suffer huge losses and collaterol damage as well.

Plus the countries nearby will prolly suffere a lot of nuclear radiation damage.

Basically, we might as well all die because we gonna all be zombies.

Plus no more cheap goods and say goodbye to holidays in other countries. Also say goodbye to NYC etc.

Nevertheless, I believe a war between USA and China is inevitable. To my knowledge the transition of UK and USA is the only time in History a superpower lost its position in the world without military conflict between the up and coming power.

Yeah but back then it was a very masculine world. Where invading countries such as communist vietnam was a show of strength. Nowadays, metrosexuals rule the world so it's very unlikely we will have a cold war again with china and us. You can even see in their negotiations (recently for that chinese lawyer) that they respect each other.

China has already shaken the world in financial terms. But don't forget this world is an entirely different world to the one napoleon inhabited. Also, China has for a long time had a huge military force and just because it's economy is booming why are becoming even greater scaremongers? China has had nukes for years!

China had a huge military force even 10 years ago and there was very little scaremongering. It's just now that China owns a lot of assets and therefore scaremongering has become greater because people are worried about the loss of assets.

But the fact is, if china were to go to war with the us, they would lose all their assets because america would prolly make some war policies to make that happen. Therefore, it's unlikely China will want a war.

On the other hand, America has been involved in a great many wars recently but even they would be stupid to get involved in a war with afghanistan iran north korea on the horizon.

I'd say we are safe for at least our lifetimes. Unless something very strange happens to alter Us-chinese relations, i think it's the very least of our worries.

The only time they might go to war is if we ran out of resources and humankind had to fight for the last scraps. Then yeah there might be war but that won't be for many 100s of years. And if we aren't travelling to other planets by then, i wouldn't worry about us-china since mankind would prolly be ripe for extinction.

Back when Napoleon wrote that, Black people were slaves. Nowadays, Black people rightfully enjoy freedom and racism has become a no no with the PC bandwagon in full throttle.

India had had nukes for years, but they do not have ICBMs as of yet. China is a different story and have various types of ICBM.

China’s military strength is still 15 years behind USA, but is more than capable of defending itself against any military attack from USA

As we speak, China and usa are already at war, economic and cyber.

Forty years ago, China’s economy was smaller than Britain’s. Today it’s more than six times larger. Within the next 20 years it will be larger than USA.
