  • Can someone please explain to me the truth about bad chins?

I'm curious if anyone knows of any scientific research behind a fighter having a glass-chin?

Is the chin physically constructed differently? Less bone to it etc.

Also, we often talk about fighters chins going, and they can no longer take a punch. Wouldn't it be valuable to have some scientific study done to see if the boxers chin is structurally any different after they have taken a lot of hits?

    Thanks!

You have a fluid that cushions your brain and sometimes when people get hit in the head their brains shake which can lead to concussions(KO). Saying someone has a bad chin is saying they are susceptible to concussions

There is a lot more to it but if you want to know the best thing to learn about is 'concussions' you can find out what you need

a solid chin is something you're born with. if you've spend most of your childhood where every corner is a street fight, a solid chin is a given
