Why doesnt the television networks just scrap all these alphabet titles?

i just listened to Steve Kim discuss this on the leave it in the ring podcast. In fairness, he done a good job of explaining the situation, that boxing is an international sport and you need all the titles to maintain an interest. HOWEVER all this diamond belt **** is just pure greed, and i do believe these organisations should be expelled from the boxing community

If there was only 1 title in 1 weight class, it would take years for many of the top ten contenders to get a shot at the title, and overrated boxers and steroids cheaters like Mosley, Pacman, etc. would've never been world champions.

Multiple titles were created for business reasons to allow frauds and steroids cheaters like Pac, Mosley, etc. to "slip through the cracks" and "become world champions" so that they can sell to their own type of fans.
