Garza did beat boxers with different styles, Coggi, Pazienza, no one took him seriously back then because JC superstar (Chavez) fought in the same class, since this is as easy as it gets, Garza would be lucky to win 3 out of 12 rounds against Whitaker.

Boxing Bob:I would say his height and reach and the fact that he fought tall and had good footwook I dont think he would be there for Sweet Pea Counters. Garza also had an excellent Jab. I think Whitaker to win a fight vs Garza he would have to become a stalker. I dont see anyway he could sit back & Counter and beat Garza from the outside. Im from SoCal
