There has never been a time where boxrec named a fight before anyone else and got it right.
They have posted fights before that were not confirmed. Then later the fights were confirmed.

Estrada/Segura was on boxrec before the fight was officially confirmed.

What is your point we're human and there are countless amount of stories about, at least they're trying name me one more site that does it better than them having all the dates for every fight?
They are not a news site. They are supposed to be an accurate records keeper. They tried several times to bid with the ABC to take over as the official records keeper for the sport. Every time they lose out to Fight Fax, who always have a 100% accuracy tally.

Because Boxrec is run by volunteers, it is susceptible to manipulation. There were allegations, more than once, of certain volunteers screwing around with some of the overseas records so certain stiffs would get approved for mismatches.
