Just started boxing it's pretty intense just learnt the basic
Jabs and hooks , stance my coach provided me is a southpaw
I am 6ft broad shoulders very skinny I'm around 52kg I kno
It's underweight been like that for years I blame my motabilsim
Anyway first session was pretty horrific had a shot at the heavy bags
And my god did my wrists hurt the impact of the punches
Put a real strain into it my whole arm and shoulders and calves
Are pretty ****ed and tight for 2 days now was stretching every chance I get
Looking forward to learning power punches and distance movements ,
I also want to know how to take on smaller ppl il be tallest as I'm going to
Compete in flyweight, do I just jab and then what ? Mentally I'm just preparing for my first spar when time comes in couple months or weeks
Also coach told me to do 150 punches per 5 min which I find ****ing intense
Is this common in the pro ranks well anyway can't complain much this what happens when you are commited to this noble art
