Ward has been with Jordan brand, basically since coming out of the Olympics with America's last boxing Olympic gold medal.
Beyond that, Ward seems to have finally squared away his business affairs, with pretty good timing, tbh. He fought in June, will be fighting again (on PPV) in November, and is still young enough to, barring any injury, fight 3-4 times per year going forward (Las Vegas is looking for a new marquee superstar, Roc Nation will likely try to grow their gate audience at Barclays in New York, and Ward is consistently growing his audience at his 18k-seat venue in Oakland).
Ward is on the verge of being the sport's top fighter, has the persona to be a marketing machine once he gets going, and Jordan brand has been loyal to him for his entire career, so far.
Jordan brand made a good choice.
