And now Khan is fighting Canelo at 155 where he won't be drained, unlike the clearly weight-drained version of Canelo that Floyd fought. So there we have it.

That true man. Floyd Canelo was a farce. Canelo is only exception at making weight, he uses this attribute to **** with other fighters, but Floyd ****ed with him.

If Khan whips Canelo it will undoubtedly be a better win than Floyd's Canelo win.

You can't make any demands when you're the B side...Khan had to take whatever terms were on the table.

Khan brought Algieri up to 147 - most fighters will take an advantage when it's available.

3 pounds is extremely hard to make for all the people that havent boxed in this form. The dude walks around 175-180 and coming to 152 is like basically walking around like a zombie

Canelo may have had quite a number of fights sure, but what about the level of competition. Floyd is a no doubt a step above others but at the time Canelos level of of experience was well below, which was why he was considered "green" at the time.

That fight was only made for the money. And even then @152, haha.

          Props to Khan for accepting.

Mind you this was the same day weigh in era, Leonard was an absolutely huge welterweight he hadby fought that low in years. Nobody whined about it, not complained, Duran won and everyone moved on. No excuses "oh he was drained" blah blah blah. These idiots act like they want these tough, ruthless boxers but complain about a 2 lb catch weight 1 day before a fight. Hilarious.
What are you talking about?! That's a pretty strange thing to make up, cause you've never heard that anywhere, so you've obviously just made that up yourself for whatever odd reason.

How you thought that was true is beyond me, especially as Duran weighed in just over 145. That sounds like a weird thing made up completely on the spot to try and justify Floyds catchweights as normal, when they aren't.

Leonard fought anywhere from 144-147 on a regular basis. The year before he'd weighed in at 144 against Viruet, 146 against Benitez, 145 against Duran, 146 in the rematch, and then 145 again for his next fight against Bonds, then 146 against Hearns.

There was never any catchweight and Duran certainly didn't ask for one.

What made you say that, just out of curiosity? Was it simply to make it look like a normal thing in boxing? To justify Floyds (or Pacs multiple catchweights) catchweights by pretending other greats did it too? The only problem with that is it never happened.

Nonetheless, I do agree that it's getting overblown and made no difference. Even worse is that this is all coming from Pac fans, which is absurdly hypocritical considering the catch weights that Pac has used in fights.

Actully Floyd fighting Canelo at 152 would be equal to Khan fighting GGG at 158.

Yeah, no. First, he had never weighed in above 154 before the Floyd fight, and had actually weighed in closer to 150 more than not. He'd only fought two or three times at 154 limit. In the Trout fight, he weighed in at 153 from memory.

Anyway, the 155 stuff has only been the last few fights.

Mate, he was the lineal, unified champion and had just beaten the 'best' fighter in the division. The top champion. That's as good as it gets. You think fighting a bunch of lower ranked guys would help? There was nothing he could to get the experience to fight Floyd and he was already the best in his division!

Thats not why Khans win would be better , its because Canelo is a better fighter now and more mature , Floyd was smart in the way he made that fight , he took the big mouth calling him out to school is so many ways .

The CW was asked about of Floyd and his was as truthful as can be , " it will make the job easier " not some Im small he is big BS , straight up it will make the job easier .

Thing is in this fight Khan is getting stopped his chin is his greatest weakness and he will get iced like Kirkland .
