  • Comments Thread For: Quigg's Coach: Americans Were Laughing at Frampton!

Joe Gallagher, trainer of WBA bantamweight champion Scott Quigg, says the American fans were laughing at the United States debut of IBF champion Carl Frampton (21-0, 14KOs) on July 18th in Texas. He was dropped twice and had some trouble before making the proper adjustments to win a twelve round unanimous decision over Alejandro Gonzalez.

Americans don't even know who quigg is and to be honest most brits just know him as that guy that fights on Crolla's undercard

Lol these "mind games" they're trying to play is a joke. Gonzalez is a good Mexican not a Bulgarian road sweeper that quigg has mostly fought in his career. Quigg got lucky in the Martinez fight anyone who actually thought quigg planned on getting dominated in the opener and pin point planned that uppercut are dumb... You could even see it in quiggs celebration after it was like he won the lottery. Frampton KO in 7 rounds

        Frampton beat Gonzalez.

Quigg has a draw at home with Salinas, a guy who in his next fight was knocked out by a guy with a 15-7 record. Remember that.

You can't take the Martinez win away from Quigg its a good win but Kiko is made for Quigg, Frampton can box and be a pressure fighter if he's smart he shouldn't have much problem with Quigg.

I'm not taking it away from him, but he hit the lotto that night. Frampton does whatever he wants with quigg.

roach says anyone who goes wildcard will win he said zapavigna would beat vazquez that time. Quigg must be worried about his chin jamie arthur put him down. And he's usualy being outboxed early on, but the other guy runs out of stamina. If I had to pick a winner I'd probably say quigg, but its 50/50 if it goes to the cards, frampton probably wins.

Frampton VS Quigg is going to be a great fight. I hope the winner moves up to 126 and fights Santa Cruz in 2016.

And Gonzalez lost his next fight to a bantumweighter

Yeah, and he also lost to Frampton.

Salinas drew with Quigg, in the UK.
