This sort of goes along with my point though, a lot of these actresses are only very minimally "jewish" e.g one parent being half jewish or a grand parent being half jewish do people forget the other side where they're a large majority european? This sounds eerily similar to the one drop rule.

It's the equivalent of me calling Ali white because he has some irish ancestry in his bloodline.

Under Jewish religious laws one's "Jewishness" is traced through the mother. Hence, if your mother is Jewish then you are considered Jewish regardless of your father's ethnicity.
