Nevada does seem to produce some strange scorecards when a big promoter or fight is involved. We know Vegas likes to keep the financial wheels greased. I have noticed it for a very long time.

When you have large casinos taking in giant bet money, and knowing how much influence the Casinos have in that State, and probably the commission, well I think we will at times see decisions to protect that money flow.

I never liked fights in big gambling towns. There is too big of a back door influence in them. It simply cannot be transparent.

This simply isn't sport. I mean.... How the fuk has the FBI not investigated this?

they get involved with steroids in baseball but not paid off judges in boxing? Now is this possible?

I think we should all applaud the judges who scored close, could-of-gone-either-way victories for Geale and Soliman 1 against Sturm in his own backyard.

Absolutely disgraceful. This left a very sour taste in my mouth.

Bob Arum has Nevada senator Harry Reid on speed dial. Don't expect his fighters to take an L in that town very often.

There was an interview a couple of years ago with Jon McCain saying how he wants the GOVT to regulate boxing. Like an hour long interview.

Now I'm against the govt regulating boxing- but if there's politicians who would like to regulate it....... Why isn't there any who fund/lead the charge in an investigation against this corruption?

                This is NOT legal

I thought one card would be wide, but all 3 were ridiculous. How they gave Vargas 10 rounds is beyond me. You have to try to score that fight one sided.

nothing will be done here unfortunately. it was an undercard fight, novikov is a nobody and doesn't speak a lick of english. bum ass vargas and his handlers will keep doing what they're doing.

anton novikov gave a good account of himself and won the belt, in my eyes. the right thing to do would be to give him a well-paid fight in the next one.

Pacquiao got robbed in Las Vegas. There are many other cases too of top rank fighters getting robbed in Vegas. It's completely disgusting.
