If you can't tell any difference from Hopkins style in the early 90's till now then you need to get those eyes of yours checked.

There's no appeal to a fight w/ Froch because we already seen what he did to Pavlik. Trinidad hasn't fought since Jones Jr. I don't want Hopkins to get anymore critcism then he has already gotten from fans. The fight would be for the Ring LHW title too and be the first person established in the division that he will fight.
Questionable? Johnson was taking unnecessary punishment from about the 6th round on, and when stoppage time came he was throwing absolutely nothing back, and the referee warned him a few times between rounds that if he could not defend himself, or muster any offense that he would stop the fight. Johnson had a granite chin, hence why he didn't go down, but he was getting ****ed up in there, and his facial and body expression, coupled with the fact that he was eating shot after shot and not throwing anything back squashes any doubt of the supposed questionable stoppage.

You should be ashamed to even call yourself a boxing fan.

Not only do you hold moronic opinions (such as Hopkins being prime for Jones, Johnson being able to KO Hopkins today, and thinking his style then is the same as his style today), but you also can't properly debate anything without hurling childish insults.

A typical snot nosed 17 year old tyke.

i take back the johnson ko'ing/beating hopkins, but that's it
people take a fighters prime during the time he started fighting the big names, not his actual fighting prime, shame
who did you pick to win in pacman-hatton?
who did you pick to win in mosley-margarito?
who are you picking to win in haye/klit?

Hopkins started his career as a boxer/puncher. He would pressure his opponents, work their body, throw combinations, keep up a high workrate, rough them up on the inside.

In the late 90's he changed his style to more of boxing technician where he would use lateral movement, counter, keep up a steady workrate, never waste punches.

as he hit his late 30's he become a defensive counter puncher, He would limit his workrate, clinch often, throw single shots, use lateral movement and ring smarts to keep the fight at the pace he wanted.

exaclty, less punches = less pressure, that's IT
even when he was a 'pressure fighter' he had his moments in counter-punching, he was'nt like glen johnson is now
