would love to see Mayweather get embarressed as much as the next person, but its really not necessary for any other events to run on the same night for this to be Mayweathers lowest grossing fight in almost 5 years

It's the reverse MDC. Mayweather moved his event on the same date as UFC. The event was already announced and several prelim matches were set by the time FM/JMM set the new date. It was supposed to be a cool down show too. give people time to catch breath for Machida/Shogun.
