A lot had to do back then on how Bob Arum protected his fighters and how Top Rank made stars without risking them to better quality opposition. Many of Top Rank stars were craftily made to be. It took good matchmaking and promoting. Floyd learned it from the Top Rank way. But there were also times when Floyd had the habit of degrading opponents who had a fair chance of giving him a run for his money.
In the end of my post, I made it clear that:
Sooo, did Floyd have the talent to beat all of the fighters he never faced or the ones that weren't in their primes or without any advantage? He probably would have... But the clouds of DOUBT would never end and in the end he may have fooled many but there will always be those he can't fool to easy.
