  • Gary Shaw screwed up big time, and now Bradley's in a lose/lose situation

Gary Shaw has given him absolutely no promotion. And that was his only chance to stay neutral. So now he wants to leave, but in order to make the Khan fight he probably has to make an extension (notice how Shaw was so quick to accept GBP's offer).

Bradley could easily say screw it and leave, but there's consequences. If he goes to GBP, he's no longer neutral and will erase his shot at Pacquiao. If he signs to Top Rank, he's even more screwed because he'd be removing his chances at fighting Ortiz, Maidana, Khan, Matthysse and Mayweather. So the only way to get all of them is by staying with Shaw, but at the same time he gets little promotion and less money than he would get with the other guys.

So what do you guys think he should do? I say go with Don King. Just look at how much promotion Alexander gets in St Louis. He has billboards with his fights on them!

or he can go to dibella or goosen.. there are other promotors he can go to. He needs to just take the money and go at khan. worst case scenerio is he loses, but he still be up to fight maidana, ortiz, peterson, judah etc...

But if he wins... he will be the man at 140 and could easily go to 147 amd make fights with Berto, Ortiz, Jones...

Goosen, would be a good choice for Bradley.

Even if he did take the money, Shaw is still an issue. And what can Goosen do? He's had Paul Williams for his entire career and the dude drew like a few hundred people for the first Martinez fight lol and between DiBella and King, I'd choose King. He can connect with the American audience better than DiBella and his fighters are more popular. The only fighter I've really seen him promote correctly recently was Jermain Taylor.

Bradley is impossible to promote. He has no personality and is a boring fighter

His personality isn't too bad. I found his interviews concerning the Holt fight interesting, where he explained why he got KTFD. And he's gotten better at trash talking, where as before he sucked ass lol if pushed properly he can be promoted. Just look at Floyd. His trash talk sounds soooo forced, yet it's gotten him where he's at.

He did an amazing job with Jeff Lacy. Who would have thought he was a D class fighter the way he was promoted lol but before and after that he sucked. Just like DiBella, whose highlight is Jermain Taylor. Although DiBella is much better than he is.
