  • Cotto will spar with Gennady Golovkin!!!

According to a P.R. newspaper, apparently Cotto will spar with Gennady Golovkin. Heres the article in spanish if someone wants to translate because im at work right now.

According To a newspaper PR, apparently Cotto will spar with Gennady Golovkin. Heres the article in spanish if someone wants to translate because im at work right now. Big Bear Lake, California. - Former world champion Miguel Cotto is currently at the stage of physical preparation for the upcoming title fight Dec. 1 against Austin Trout at Madison Square Garden in New York. Weeks of preparation in Puerto Rico and the work done at the height of Big Bear and have positive results and cagüeño fighter is in excellent physical condition. During just over two hours of training yesterday morning, the former monarch did everything according to the instructions of his trainer Pedro Luis Diaz, and chemistry and complicity between the two is more than evident. Cotto jumped rope, sparring in shadows, with guanteletas with coach southpaw position, abdominal ran treadmill and hit the sack in a routine that was changing intense exercise as Díaz ruled, and never showed signs of fatigue. Afternoon made an impressive run up a slope about eight miles in the mountains. "He made seven minutes less than the last time we came to the mountain a few days ago," Diaz said his ward as soon rose to the top of the mountain to continue your exercise routine. At the end of the afternoon session, Cotto's face still showed no signs of fatigue. What we showed was a smile that showed the satisfaction of fulfilling their training without problems. The tactical and hard work will take place in sparring fighter's camp in Orlando, Florida, where he moved with his team on October 27 said the Cuban coach. However, the team will leverage the presence of middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin, who is in the city in preparation for a fight again in December, to do some sparring. If Miguel Cotto has looked good in his last fights physically, this time Austin Trout have to deal with a boxer in excellent condition.

Perhaps to help him adjust to what looks to be an obvious size and strength disadvantage Cotto has, going into the Trout fight

Cotto sparing with arguably the hardest puncher in sport and a guy who is bigger, stronger than Trout will be huge when it comes to facing the height and reach of Trout.

I doubt Trout is stronger than Cotto. From 140-154 there is probably not a single guy that is stronger than Cotto.

k9, alvarez, trout, kirkland, angulo, are all stronger than cotto.

k9, alvarez, kirkland, and angulo are a lot stronger. k9 is probably weaker after a few rounds because of the way he's built up.
