Hey I wanted Manny to win.
I even showed token support by betting on him...
But I think most of us knew this was going to happen: Floyd by boring UD.

    Bottom line is...
We all knew what Floyd could do, and he delivered.
We all knew what Manny could do, and he didn't deliver.

Floyd won fair and square. No excuses. We all move on.

l doesn't change the fact that he avoided pac for years and made a lot of money in the process. It was a good move for him but bad for boxing. lt created a precedent that will make boxing a mediocre sport. Hope l'm wrong. Floyd show us all that he's the best boxer of this era, nobody can take that away from him.

      Pac lost. Period.

Pac win would have been a win for boxing but he lost.

      Still, War Pacquiao!!!!

I feel the same way as you did, im really disappointed in manny.

He needed to use footwork for angels and throw punches in bunches the whole night to win.... he did it for about 3 minutes of the whole fight.

What can I say, He made his money and was a part of one of the biggest fights in history. Thanks Pac for making Filipinos part of it.

Watching closely, you'll see Manny attempt several times to close in,
but Floyd would adjust his stance, and Manny would have to reset.
Over, and over: Floyd was reading Manny, and making it clear he could
read Manny... and Manny would hesitate, reset.

It didn't help that Manny's plodding approaches were easy for even a
10-yr old to read. Footwork indeed: what happened to turning Floyd
            constantly? To outworking and out-hustling?

Shit, when I heard Pac weighed 152, I knew Team Pac was following a
different script, and one that was a recipe for disaster, not just for Pac
            but the sport as well.

Boxing needs a broader base of support and subscription.
The casual fans are the key, and they must have felt cheated.
A lot of money and hype, for very little fight.

The fight was not good for the sport at all, I doubt that boxing made one fan that day.

The pub where I was watching the fight had people laughing when both fighters were throwing and missing.

Possible fans wont want to watch boxing again.

The fight should have been 6 years ago, it could of been the best fight of all time but we got the better late then never version sadly.

The silver lining is that Floyd (hopefully Pac) are closer to retirement.
Younger, better boxers may come to the fore.

We still might get the rematch and then a trilogy.... but it is time to pass the torch onto the next generation.

Canelo will be the next ppv star but the question is who else will be up there with him.
