Human athletics and competition is based on who can perform the best, naturally.

Yet, we have guys making and raking in millions of dollars by being frauds. They have not only cheated the game and fans, but also many players who chose not to indulge in shady practices.

I applaud Jose Canseco for airing out the dirty secret of MLB.

Canseco told the truth, but nobody wanted to listen.

Plus it was all too easy to write him off because of his personality, and the fact that one could easily question his motives in pulling back the curtain on steroid use in the Major Leagues.

As IncuFan pointed out ; He was most likely doing it for personal gain (Money and Exposure), rather than out of pure love of the sport.

But hey, the ends justify the means, right?
