Celestino "Pelenchín" Caballaro celebrated his 35th birthday at the gym "Maco" Arboleda by continuing to prepare for his upcoming fight for the featherweight crown of the World Boxing Association (WBA), which takes place on July 2 in Mendoza against Argentine champion Jonathan Victor Barros. Under the supervision of trainer Jeff Mayweather, Caballero is close to the featherweight limit and he is expected to travel this weekend to Argentina.

Considering what just happened to Litzau, 35 might be an old edition of Caballero. No disgrace, can't beat father time, but I hope I'm wrong. I liked his style, I saw Ismael Laguna and Pedroza in his movement. Great Dancers, fancy movers, hard to hit, all over the place, at home in the ring. There is, of course, the greatest of Panamanian (Whew) fighters, Roberto Duran. His is a case of Hybrid Vigour, so maybe Caballero won't reach these heights. Happy birthday Campeon.
