Haye vs Valuev for the heavyweight world title and Rigondeaux vs Donaire for the super bantamweight title . Which performance was actually more impressive, are they about the same, or do you think the comparison doesn't work because of Valuev's and Donaire's respective abilities?

He dominated a top 5 p4p in his prime where Haye questionably won against some 40yr old overgrown sloth which stunk out the whole of Germany.

Chagaev & a 48yr old Holyfield beat Valuev far more impressively than Haye did.

Rigo, because he was fighting a top talent, but Haye's performance against Valuev is hugely underrated. Haye is known for a questionable chin, faced enormous height and weight disadvantages and traveled for the fight.

Valuev can't even wipe his own arse and Haye still fought a dull, boring fight. Rigondeaux just took on a P4P top fighter, who many people had winning the fight before-hand, no one expected such a dominant display.

Valuev has only been officially beaten twice in 53 fights, that's mainly because of his huge size and weight advantage rather than his skill set. The point is that Rigo and Haye had to overcome a size disadvantage - but Rigo had to contend with Nonito (who had more skills), while Haye had to contend with Valuev (who had a much bigger size advantage.)

The resulting performances do have some similarities in terms of the gameplan and some of the techniques used.

Someone needs to watch the fights again. Haye demonstrated a lot of elusiveness and excellent footwork in that fight, similar to how Rigo did with Donaire, although not as fluidly, but then he's a heavyweight.

Doubt Tua would have beaten Valuev since Valuev KO'd Barrett (who beat Tua.) lol..
