both pac and floydie boy started their boxing careers basically at the same weight, whether it be pro for pac and amateur for floydie boy, and both have fought as high as jr middleweight.

and to those who makes a big deal of pac moving up from featherweight to jr middleweight, dont have a clue...the weight gained in this time period is less than 10 pounds...although if looking at it from the number of divisions pac has moved up, it may look unreal...but if u just look at it from the fight nite weight stand point, again, less than 10 lbs in that time frame...what is suspicious about gaining sub 10 lbs in a 3 to 4 yr span?

for those of you who say, "well, look at pacs body, he looks built"...hello??? have u seen other boxer that looks so much chizeled? look at tim bradley, have you seen him flex/pose?...that dude looks like he's on sum serious steroids. there are a bunch of other boxers who look so much built than pac...its freekin crazy...as far as PED/ilegal drug usage...IT DIDNT HELP those who got caught in the past year or so...the majority (could be all) of the ilegal users lost their fight and then failed the drug test immediately after the fight.

How can Floyd be roiding when he took the tests? Even Mosley who got caught cheating took the tests. Now Ortiz who Berto tried to accuse of being juiced up is willing to take the tests. Why can't Manny who is supposed to be this squeaky clean athlete take the tests? Why do Pac fans act so dumb when it comes to this?

Based on what? Your own opinion? Mayweather has fought the best while they were still the best in each division he competed in EXCEPT jrWW because Kostya Tszyu demanded a 60/40 split with him getting the lion's share.

Floyd also competed almost exclusively for the WBC title in nearly every division ... meaning that he didn't try to go for bull**** belts that aren't even recognized everywhere. The WBC title is THEE most prestigious and recognized, and that's why Mayweather always sought the champion holding it.

Pacquiao, who seeks mostly vacant titles, has no such preference. He simply seeks to sidestep anyone on top and therefore seeks to fight other challengers to make his case as a top fighter ... which in reality makes no sense. How can you be a champion when you didn't beat a champion for the title????

Floyd has dominated every division he's been in. When Floyd came to WW, the critics and boxing writers said that he was too small as well. They said that he'd never been hit by a true WW and he wouldn't be able to use his defense to nullify his opponent's offense like he had in the past. Did Floyd ask for catchweights? No. Did Floyd wait until his opponents lost to face them? No. He fought the best while he was competing.

Now, calling yourself an objective boxing fan doesn't cut it. If you're so objective Strugg, back up your ****. How is Mayweather's legacy ****? I think you're blowing hot air.

In 2007, Cotto was just coming up from jrWW and wasn't even a factor at WW. His first notable win came over Mosley a month before Floyd beat Hatton ,, and that win warranted a rematch as many thought Shane won that fight. I'm among them.

In 2007 Clottey had NO notable wins at WW. He lost to Margarito and to date his biggest accomplishment was beating an undisciplined Judah.

These people were not factors in 2007. Mayweather, Judah, Spinks and Baldomir were the champions during that time period. How did Mayweather duck any of them?

How is his legacy ****? Mayweather's list of opponents reads better than almost anyone currently boxing today aside from Bernard Hopkins. What kind of fan are you? This isn't about cheerleading Mayweather as much as it is calling a spade a spade.

See, people like you forget that as Floyd came up, there was talk about how different opponents were going to kill him. Many of the men Floyd has fought were THEE best of their divisions at the point when Floyd faced them. Floyd didn't just face them for name recognition, he got the glory because THEY WERE ALL ON TOP WHEN THE MATCH TOOK PLACE!
