An engine catching fire is not a plane blowing up.

I used that terminology because there was said to have been an explosion in the engine igniting fuel tanks, which is what the initial theory the Irish investigation of the Russian plane crash was leaning towards (Metrojet plane was leased from an Irish company).

But yeah, it would've been slightly bigger news if the entire plane had blown up in Vegas that day.
